Our business is designed to help you if you live locally or hundreds of miles away, if you have a limited amount of time to clear a property or maybe you are finding it difficult to deal with the emotional aspect of dismantling the life of of a close relative or friend.
We can provide you with a professional house clearance service, we can deal with everything on your behalf in a matter of hours, from the items that have some value to the item's that have minimal or no value and which you may be finding difficult to dispose of otherwise.
If you have the time and inclination we recommend trying to sell your items first, or give them to friends or members of your own family, these items are going to be of more value to yourself or people you know.
Then if you are able, take all the smaller item's i.e. bric-a-brac, clothing, bedding, books, magazines and any other item’s you could realistically fit in the boot of your car either to a local charity shop or to your local council recycling center and recycle them for free.
Trying to sell your items first might make you some money to put towards or even on some occasions cover the full cost of the removal and recycling of all the items that have no or minimal value.
By clearing all the smaller items yourself you will not only reduce the cost of a house clearance service like ours, but it will also give you the opportunity to check the property efficiently to make sure you haven't overlooked anything of value that you couldn't bear to loose.
We can clear your whole property from start to finish all within a few hours without you having to lift a finger if you require us to, we do not require you to separate or bag any items, all we need you to do is search the property with a fine tooth comb.
Once your sure there are no item's of a financial or personal value that you would like to keep we can clear and recycle everything else for you, we clear anything and everything, we clear attics and basements, sheds and garages, carpets and stair lifts.
All the information on this site has been written by myself personally, unfortunately the house clearance industry has a reputation of being full of dodgy second hand furniture and antique dealers trying to take advantage of you if they can.
However things have changed over the years, 90% of the second hand furniture market has moved either to online markets where you sell your items yourself or to the charities and good causes who now dominate this sector of the industry.
Please don't get me wrong there are honest and professional second hand furniture dealers but they are far and few between, most I know have been put out of business by the competition from charity shops and online markets.
And as with any business there are a few rogues out there both in the waste disposal and recycling business and the house clearance industry so to protect yourself I recommend due diligence to be the order of the day.
